Engineered across a suspended 30,000-square-metre structure cantilevered directly over a 100-metre deep former limestone quarry in Changsha, Xiangjiang Joy City Snow World is one of the world’s most dramatic indoor snow projects. The facility features a 200-metre main ski slope dropping across a 13-degree pitch, complemented by beginner nursery areas, a sub-zero alpine theme village, and bobsled tracks. Maintained at a constant -3°C with advanced cryogenic snowmakers, the resort combines year-round ski training with panoramic views down into the quarry gorge.
