Dry slope
Clitheroe (Sabden) · Lancashire · UK
The legendary volunteer-run ski club on Pendle Hill that produced World Cup champion Dave Ryding, featuring a 140m technical race slope.
Renowned throughout the international ski racing community, this volunteer-run club on the slopes of Lancashire's historic Pendle Hill gained global acclaim as the childhood training slope of World Cup slalom champion Dave Ryding. The 140-metre hill features a steep, technically unforgiving top section that forces skiers to master rapid edge-to-edge transitions and disciplined upper-body stability before flattening into a fast finish bowl.
