Dry slope
Norwich (Trowse) · Norfolk / East of England · UK
One of the UK’s premier member-run snow sports clubs, featuring a 170m Proslope main run, 5 conveyor lifts, and elite adaptive skiing.
Operated entirely by an active member community on the wooded slopes of "Trowse Mountain", this Norwich institution has replaced traditional abrasive matting with high-performance Proslope. The low-friction surface allows skiers to set sharp edges with natural feedback, while an array of five conveyor carpet lifts removes the hassle of wrestling button drags. The club combines grassroots learn-to-ski initiatives with national-level slalom race coaching and dedicated adaptive sessions.
