Perched high above Gatlinburg on Mount Harrison, Ober Mountain brings downhill skiing and snowboarding to the Great Smoky Mountains all year long. Its dedicated Snowflex matting uses built-in cushioning and water misting to deliver a forgiving, low-friction surface for beginner lessons, freestyle jibs, and summer tubing. The venue connects directly to downtown Gatlinburg via a scenic 120-passenger aerial tramway.

Accessible by driving up Ski Mountain Road or by boarding the 120-passenger Ober Mountain Aerial Tramway directly from downtown Gatlinburg (Pkwy). Ample parking available at both the downtown tram terminal and the mountaintop lodge.
Summer weekends (June–August) and October fall foliage season when the Gatlinburg tramway experiences heavy visitor volume.
